About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to join a team of 140 in the UK that tackles complex structural projects such as reinforced concrete, plated steel, maritime and submarine facilities. The role requires analysing dynamic load effects from extreme hazards—including seismic, blast, and impact—and applying advanced modelling and failure‑mechanism analysis to meet nuclear safety regulator standards.

Responsibilities

  • Inter‑discipline project planning, delivery and financial performance
  • Provision of technical quality and excellence of project deliverables
  • Technical and professional guidance to junior engineers and technicians
  • Adherence to and contribution to business and quality management systems
  • Operational and design safety, developing a good safety culture

Qualifications

  • UK national holding or able to obtain a Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • Good all‑round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and prepare project deliverables, including quality, budget, programme and resources.
  • Accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar, Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer.
