We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Installation Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and safety standards. This role is temporary, paid weekly, and fully on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems and components in industrial settings (e.g., factories, warehouses, processing plants).
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Carry out cable routing, containment, and termination.
- Perform testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical installations.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Work collaboratively with other trades and contractors on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
- Compex 1-4 (desirable).
- 2391 testing & inspection qualification (desirable).
- ECS/CSCS card (preferred).
- Experience in industrial electrical installation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
