Project Manager – Construction Projects (Framework Contract)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Framework Contract delivering construction projects at HPC.
The successful candidate will become part of our growing team that is successfully delivering a variety of scope for our valued client NNB.
The successful candidate will report to the Operations Director.
- The position is based on site (hybrid by negotiation) and will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a multidisciplinary team to deliver the contract scope to agreed deadlines whilst maintaining Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost KPI’s.
- Monitor project progress against key milestones, deadlines, and budgets, and report status updates to key stakeholders at weekly and monthly intervals.
- Collaborate with the client NNB to ensure scope delivery is maintained and attend client meetings as and when required.
- Collaborate with other Contractors on site to manage interfaces.
- Administer the NEC3 contract using CEMAR.
- Identify Risks, facilitate resolution of issues, update the programme & budget accordingly, and elevate as required.
- Identify Opportunities within and outside the scope of works that will provide value to the client.
- Being ‘visible’ to the project team and client with regular ‘in‑person’ engagement.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Role specific degree or NVQ L6. A chartered level of qualification is desirable.
- Post holders not meeting these criteria should provide evidence of extensive experience working in programme and project environments.
- Working knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, UK Health and Safety legislation.
- Experience of working in an MDT delivering construction projects.
- Understanding and experience of administering NEC contracts.
- UK driving licence & right to work in the UK.
- Mechanical, Structural, Civil experience preferred.
- Membership of a relevant professional body such as the APM or an engineering institution is preferred.
- Any offer will be subject to security clearance requirements (BPSS and either SC or DV).
