Amentum, a global provider of operational support services, is seeking a Commissioning Support Team Member to work within the Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) at Sellafield. The role focuses on ensuring that Commissioning Start Up activities, processes and test documentation comply with Nuclear Site License Condition 21 and regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep full and accurate records in compliance with Nuclear Site License Condition 21.
  • Develop, populate and maintain Commissioning Start Up tracking systems for Commissioning Test Documentation (CTD), Fault Observations (FOBs), Temporary Commissioning Aids (TCAs), Transfer Certificates, Quality Plans, Risk Registers and Drawings.
  • Maintain command and control of Commissioning Test Documentation and associated documents, including reports, from CTD production through to archiving.
  • Provide administration support for the Commissioning Start Up Team, including meeting coordination/secretarial duties and preparation of documentation.
  • Support the Section Manager and Team Leader to maintain commissioning support productivity on a designated work stream.
  • Assist and input into internal surveillance audits by demonstrating compliance and ensuring associated documentation is accurate, complete and accessible.
  • Participate in periodic review of local procedures to develop and enhance documentation standards, processes and local templates.

  • Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue identification and resolution.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Competence in using, navigating and maintaining specialist systems and databases that support Commissioning Start Up activities.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with team members, the client and safety/compliance functions.
