Responsibilities
- People & Leadership: Champion safety, wellbeing, and a strong values driven culture. Lead, motivate, and develop high performing, diverse teams. Drive vision, strategy, and sustainability (Plan Beyond). Deliver strong people outcomes (engagement, capability, performance).
- Customers & Growth: Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships. Deliver value driven, innovative solutions aligned to customer needs. Support business strategy, growth, and market differentiation. Contribute to sales performance (pipeline, win rates, client satisfaction).
- Delivery Excellence: Ensure compliant, ethical, and efficient commercial operations. Drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Manage contracts end to end (suppliers, procurement, change, payments, final accounts). Lead commercial teams and resolve complex challenges proactively.
Qualifications
- Proven and experienced Senior Commercial Manager with experience in FIDIC and NEC 3/4 suite of contracts and major projects.
- Knowledge of UK law and its impact upon contracts and the commercial function.
- Understanding of procurement, contract performance measurement, risk, change, and claim management.
- Ability to work across multiple discipline teams to develop, implement, and operate commercial strategies and contractual agreements.
- Big picture view to develop and execute innovative approaches to commercial delivery for the benefit of the project.
- Member of RICS, CICES, IOB, CIPS or an equivalent professional body is desirable.
