Position Summary
Location: Birchwood Park, Warrington
Lead CE&I electrical systems design for projects in the FEED pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the design aspects of the project.
- Work with a small integrated design team to produce design packages against milestones.
- Contribute to multi‑discipline design documentation, including Project Requirement Documents, Basis of Design, Project Verification Plans, Quality Plans, and Design Justification Reports.
- Determine and document project requirements independently.
- Produce, review and check design documents and CE&I deliverables from other CE&I engineers/designers.
- Estimate scope changes or additional works and outline supporting schedules.
- Support and contribute to Design Reviews.
- Prepare reports and documentation to comply with CDM requirements.
- Interface with Integrated Design Team, facility team, and other project functions throughout project phases.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering CE&I design packages – translating user requirements and technical specifications into fully engineered, safe, and legal design solutions.
- Experience with space management, panel layouts, cable routing, cable management, and cable calculations.
- Ability to work as part of an Integrated delivery team and independently within restrictive time constraints.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills – able to interact with people at all levels.
- Knowledge of Process Instrumentation Design, Electrical Power and Services Design at LV, and CE&I Safety Systems (Programmable Electronic Systems, Radiometric Instrumentation).
- Understanding of the deliverables and design process for each CE&I area, particularly front‑end scoping and early delivery strategy.
- Ability to estimate and schedule production, and provide progress reporting.
- Collaborative team‑player mindset.
