About the Opportunity

Energy Programmes is one of our newest Business Units, supporting nuclear power projects such as Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, and Poland’s first Energy Power station.

Working on both client‑facing and internal roles, we deliver major programme and project management throughout the project lifecycle.

Position: Anchorage Engineer

The Anchorage Engineer is responsible for ensuring the production and monitoring of the civil engineering of buildings on the nuclear island and proposing technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input data, and produce the technical notes and calculation notes for which the engineer is responsible.
  • Perform design activities for fastenings in concrete, and raise, coordinate, and manage design changes.
  • Take responsibility for anchorage design activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Civil/Structural Engineering degree with anchorage design knowledge.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations.
  • Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Eurocodes related to civil engineering, especially fastenings in concrete.
  • Knowledge of reinforced concrete and pre‑stressed concrete structures.
  • Experience dealing with design and layout constraints.
