This is an exciting opportunity to work as a QA/QC Inspector on the Hinkley Point C project. The role will report to the Quality Manager and support the site Quality Lead team. The candidate will work in a 10‑day on‑site rotation followed by a four‑day weekend, starting on a Tuesday and finishing the following Thursday, with overtime and weekend pay rates in line with the site ESCA agreement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high quality, consistent and competent before, during and welding inspection in accordance with project/company requirements, standards and procedures.
- Ensure all work scope is completed safely, ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment.
- Read, understand and implement all applicable company/project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the welding work scope is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack/job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings/sketches.
- Provide inspection support to construction activities where required, as part of an integrated multi‑discipline team.
- Compile complete quality documentation in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
- Have thorough knowledge of fabrication and NDT techniques (VT, PT & MT).
- Have thorough knowledge of QC inspection and dimensional inspection techniques.
What You'll Need
- CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector or 3.2 senior welding inspector.
- CSWIP/ PCN Level II, Penetrant Testing.
- Significant experience as a Welding Inspector.
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety.

- PCN Level II, Magnetic Particle Inspection.
- PCN Level II, Radiographic Interpretation.
- BGAS‑CSWIP/ICorr/NACE Coatings Inspector.
- DV/SC clearance.
