As Information Analyst, you’ll be part of a cross‑disciplinary team within Digital & IT, working closely with Project Managers, Information Architects, Data Engineers, and business insight specialists. You will be responsible for ensuring the customer engagement and support service within Information Management identifies and engages with business stakeholders to ensure their needs are translated into information requirements and documented.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Business Stakeholders in defining information goals (Information Requirements) and ensure that the right data is available for the Business Users, in the right tools, and at the right time.
- Create, analyse and validate Information Flows and assess potential issues and risks, including data quality, information sensitivity, and integration requirements.
- Work with the Business Architect to transform collected Business Requirements into Information Requirements and raise any potential information gaps.
- Collaborate with Project teams and business stakeholders to validate information requirements and resolve key complex business challenges.
- Partner with Information Architects as part of the wider Information Management team, sharing documentation and industry knowledge.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of work across multiple projects, synchronise activities between teams, and ensure deliverables are completed on time (typically 2-4 projects per month).
- Act as a bridge between Business Stakeholders and the Digital organisation, guiding them to appropriate Information Management services.
- Support the development of HPC Information Management tools, processes, procedures, and communication material to build knowledge and understanding across the project.
Education, Experience & Skills
- Business Analysis – Apply analytical insights to support strategic decision‑making and deliver value on complex, large‑scale digital projects.
- Information Management – Experience in one or more disciplines such as Information Architecture, Information Analysis, Master Data Management, Data Administration, or Database System Development.
- Degree – A degree (or equivalent) in a related or business‑relevant discipline is preferred.
- Requirements Gathering & Transformation – Demonstrate expertise in translating Business needs into comprehensive Information Requirements and driving consensus on key project aspects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across disciplines and seniority, manage differing viewpoints, and communicate project goals, priorities, and timelines.
