Amentum is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Cumbria team as a Level 3 Apprentice Installation Electrician, based in our Westlakes office (Pillar House). This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in engineering design who are looking to develop a career within a technical, safety‑critical, and highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Installation Electrician you will work alongside experienced electrical staff, learning and performing tasks related to the planning, design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems in a regulated environment. You will support project teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous professional development in technical, behavioural and business skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at Level 4‑9
- Permanent right to work in the UK and ordinary residency in the UK, British Overseas Territories or Crown Dependencies for the previous three years
- Strong interest in engineering design and electrical installation
Apprenticeship Details
Duration: 48 months. You will receive structured CPD, support from the apprenticeship community, and opportunities to network across the business.
