Our client, a reputable M & E contractor, is looking to recruit an Electrical Project Manager due to continued success and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career within a progressive and successful business. Working on a new build educational development, the role is client facing and involves overseeing subcontract companies and some direct labour. The position pays up to £300 / £350 per day depending on experience and qualifications.

Applicant Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience and trade qualifications
  • Previous successful experience on electrical projects ranging from £50K to £1.5 million in the commercial sector
  • Hold a driving licence
  • Work under own initiative, be self‑motivated and a good team player
  • Hold a CSCS Card
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Meet with clients and design teams, liaise with design teams (architects & consultants)
  • Carry out site visits and surveys, prepare reports
  • Manage site labour and subcontractors
  • Manage contract costs and variations including procurement
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Travel as required; work from main office and site as needed
