Our client, a reputable M & E contractor, is looking to recruit an Electrical Project Manager due to continued success and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career within a progressive and successful business. Working on a new build educational development, the role is client facing and involves overseeing subcontract companies and some direct labour. The position pays up to £300 / £350 per day depending on experience and qualifications.
Applicant Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience and trade qualifications
- Previous successful experience on electrical projects ranging from £50K to £1.5 million in the commercial sector
- Hold a driving licence
- Work under own initiative, be self‑motivated and a good team player
- Hold a CSCS Card
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
Responsibilities / Duties
- Meet with clients and design teams, liaise with design teams (architects & consultants)
- Carry out site visits and surveys, prepare reports
- Manage site labour and subcontractors
- Manage contract costs and variations including procurement
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Travel as required; work from main office and site as needed
