The role will involve the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical building services packages for commercial office refurbishments and fit-outs, ensuring projects are completed to programme, budget, and technical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and coordination of mechanical building services systems including:
    • HVAC systems
    • Domestic water services
    • Above ground drainage
    • Heating and chilled water pipework
    • Ventilation systems
  • Production of mechanical drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Carry out design calculations, equipment sizing, and system selections
  • Coordination with electrical, architectural, and structural disciplines
  • Attend design meetings, site surveys, and client coordination meetings
  • Support projects from concept through to construction and handover
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams
  • Ensure designs comply with current regulations, British Standards, and client specifications
  • Review technical submissions and assist with value engineering where required
