Padgett's Motorcycles are a family run business based in Batley, West Yorkshire established in 1958. We are the longest standing Honda, Suzuki & Yamaha Dealership in the country with over 60 years of experience with each manufacturer. We also have the honour of being appointed a Honda HRC Service Shop (the first in the world outside of Japan!) and a GYTR Pro Shop by Yamaha UK, one of only 4 in the country!
Padgett's Motorcycles are looking for a Motorcycle Technician to join our ever-growing aftersales team. The main responsibilities of this role will be:
- To carry out new motorcycle Pre Delivery Inspections to manufacture specification.
- To service and repair motorcycles in compliance with manufacturer standards.
- Working to deadlines to ensure that work is completed on time.
- Use manufacture issued diagnostics equipment to help diagnose faults.
- Prepare motorcycle health-checks to manufacture standards.
- Complete Honda, Suzuki & Yamaha training courses (both on-line & off-site).
- To comply with and maintain company policies, standards and procedures relating to quality and customer care within the workshop department; and anything else deemed necessary.
This is a great opportunity to work at one of the UK's premier dealerships! The candidate will be a qualified technician and have a full motorcycle licence as well as good technical experience of modern motorcycles.
A good salary package will be awarded to the successful candidate who will fully reflect your experience and qualifications as well as the importance of this role to our business. Part of the Nest Pension Scheme. Industry-leading Honda, Suzuki & Yamaha manufacturer backed training will be provided to the successful candidate as necessary (both online and off-site).
28 days paid holiday per annum including bank holidays. Our working week is Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5.30pm and every other Saturday 8.30am until 4.30pm.
