The Role
As a full‑time/part‑time, on‑site Front of House & Hospitality Team Member, you'll be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for every member and guest from the moment they arrive.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same.
You'll manage bookings and memberships, assist in the café, sell merchandise and padel equipment in the Pro Shop, help coordinate hospitality for events and ensure the club is always presented to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests with a warm, friendly and professional attitude.
- Manage court bookings, memberships and customer enquiries using the club's booking system.
- Check members in and provide information about the club, facilities and services.
- Answer telephone, email and face‑to‑face enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Process payments and operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately.
- Assist in the café by preparing and serving drinks and food during busy periods.
- Promote and sell merchandise, padel equipment and accessories within the Pro Shop.
- Maintain attractive retail displays and assist customers with product recommendations.
- Restock merchandise, café supplies and operational equipment to ensure stock availability.
- Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements.
- Support hospitality for coaching sessions, tournaments, corporate events and private bookings.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception, café, Pro Shop and communal areas.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and complete daily operational checks.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure the club operates efficiently and every guest enjoys a premium experience.
- Follow all company policies, operational procedures and health & safety requirements.

- Friendly, approachable and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident working with customers in a premium hospitality or leisure environment.
- Comfortable working across reception, hospitality, retail and the café.
- Sales‑minded, with confidence recommending memberships, merchandise and padel equipment.
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, proactive and able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required.
- Well presented and takes pride in creating an outstanding first impression.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, leisure, retail, reception or customer service.
- Experience using booking systems or point‑of‑sale systems.
- Previous experience handling cash and card payments.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- An interest in padel, sport or the fitness industry would be an advantage.
