What do we do?
Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payments infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments‑related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payments fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.
We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 5000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design for Paddle’s Analytics and Reporting experiences, core to how customers understand revenue, performance, and growth across payments, subscriptions, and taxes.
You’ll turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that help SaaS founders, finance teams, and operators make confident decisions. This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent visual and interaction design skills, and a deep focus on clarity and usability in data‑heavy products.
You’ll also contribute to the long‑term evolution of our analytics platform, shaping scalable design systems and processes. As a holistic problem solver, you’ll operate beyond pixels, balancing hands‑on execution with strategic thinking and product vision.
Embedded in a cross‑functional product team, you’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data partners in an environment that values ownership, autonomy, and accountability.
What you’ll do:
- Own the end‑to‑end design of analytics and reporting experiences, from discovery and concepting through delivery, iteration, and long‑term evolution.
- Translate complex payments, revenue, and subscription data into intuitive dashboards, reports, and workflows that scale across the platform.
- Lead design thinking for analytics at scale, including data visualization, information architecture, interaction patterns, and AI‑powered insights.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research to define problems, shape solutions, influence roadmaps, and ship high‑quality outcomes.
- Use research, data, and customer feedback to validate decisions and continuously improve customer experiences.
- Contribute to and evolve Paddle’s design system, principles, and processes to ensure consistency, accessibility, and quality across analytics surfaces.
- Advocate for user‑centered design and high design standards across the product organization.
- Mentor and support other designers through collaboration, feedback, and critique.
- Own and improve the customer experience across a complex B2B platform and high‑scale checkout products used by hundreds of SaaS companies and millions of consumers.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have proven experience designing high‑scale, consumer‑facing or B2B products, including analytics, reporting, dashboards, or data visualization tools.
- Bring a strong portfolio showcasing end‑to‑end product design, with clear problem‑solving, interaction design, and visual clarity in complex domains.
- Can critically assess and apply AI where it delivers real user value, translating it into thoughtful, usable experiences.
- Excel at cross‑functional collaboration, working closely with designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and business partners.
- Communicate design decisions clearly and confidently, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Are a self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity, able to own work from discovery through delivery with minimal oversight.
- Have experience contributing to and working with design systems.
- Possess strong UI design and prototyping skills using Figma (or similar tools).
