Job Description
What do we do?
Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.
We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 5000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.
The Role:
We’re hiring a Marketing Programs Lead to act as the connective tissue across the entire marketing function, owning program execution, team coordination, strategic initiatives, and operational rigour. This role blends program leadership, marketing operations, and strategic project ownership, reporting directly to the CMO and working closely with the entire marketing leadership team.
You’ll be responsible for making our cornerstone campaigns run smoothly, our planning cadence stick, and our most important cross-functional initiatives land with impact. You’ll also support the CMO on budget management ensuring we stay efficient and high-impact as we scale, as well as take on special strategic projects on behalf of the CMO, helping drive critical evolution to our success.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-velocity, high-ambiguity environments that executes with precision and clarity. If you're structured but flexible, operational but strategic, and love driving momentum across complex teams, this is your role.
What you'll do:
-
Marketing Operating Cadence: Lead our planning rhythm with weekly meetings, quarterly OKRs, campaign check-ins, retrospectives, and annual planning cycles.
-
Program Execution: Coordinate complex cross-functional marketing programs ensuring timelines, interlocks, and outcomes stay on track across Revenue Marketing, Demand Gen, Growth, Product Marketing, Web, and Brand.
-
Strategic Projects for the CMO: Own high-priority workstreams and initiatives on behalf of the CMO
-
Team Enablement & Playbooks: Build scalable workflows, resource libraries, templates, and onboarding guides that help the team move faster and more autonomously.
-
Marketing Ops & Analytics Partnership: Work with Marketing Ops and RevOps to align campaign reporting, tracking, dashboards, and campaign attribution workflows.
-
AI-Powered Execution: Leverage AI tools to accelerate briefing, documentation, retrospectives, meeting summaries, and operational comms across the team.
-
Budget Coordination: Support the CMO with budget tracking, marketing investment planning, vendor management, and spend alignment across functions. Own the quarterly marketing budget update and central tracking process.
-
Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a central coordinator across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations driving clarity, velocity, and issue resolution across initiatives.
We'd love to hear from you:
-
5+ years in marketing programs, operations, or strategic enablement roles in high-growth B2B environments
-
Strong experience managing cross-functional initiatives and marketing program execution at pace
-
Confident working with budget, tracking spend, liaising with Finance, and aligning investment to outcomes
-
Excellent written communicator, meeting facilitator, internal operator, and able to influence without hierarchy
-
Familiarity with tools like Asana, Notion, Airtable, Looker, Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms
-
Bonus: Experience using AI tools to streamline internal workflows, generate documentation, or increase planning velocity
