Paddington Arts, established in 1988, is a Youth Arts organisation dedicated to inspiring creativity and fostering talent within the community. Focused on self-expression and career development, the organisation emphasises access, excellence, education, and fun. Offering workshops in areas such as dance, drama, video, radio production, and design, Paddington Arts creates opportunities for young people aged 6 to 16 and beyond to enhance life skills and develop leadership abilities. For older participants, the organisation provides career guidance, networking opportunities, and collaborations with professional artists and creative industry experts to produce original works for stage and screen. Located in London, Paddington Arts is a hub for artistic growth and community engagement.

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient team player with excellent communication and people skills. You will have experience in building and line management, community engagement and a keen interest in the arts and youth sector. We are currently undertaking a major expansion of our building, which means that this is an exciting time to join a dynamic organisation with a strong, committed team working towards the delivery of a culturally and socially driven mission.

The role of the General Manager is to take responsibility for maintenance and improvement of the building; for timetabling internal and external bookings so that we can prioritise Paddington Arts programme, at the same time enabling maximum use of the building for community groups and professional companies. In addition, the General Manager is responsible for other areas, as listed in the Job Description.
