We are looking for an exceptional Services Manager to lead the delivery of our prison-based and community services in the region, ensuring excellence in performance, innovation, and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Deliver: Oversee the delivery of Pact’s services within your region, ensuring they consistently meet performance requirements and commissioners’ expectations.
  • Support and Enable: Inspire and support teams and individuals to achieve their objectives, fostering a positive and effective work environment.
  • Collaborate: Build and maintain strong partnerships within and across prisons, promoting cohesive and effective service delivery.
  • Promote Well-being: Cultivate a culture of health, well-being, and effectiveness across all services under your leadership.

Aims:

Your work will focus on:

  • Improving Continuity of Care: Enhancing support for prisoners, families, and carers during custody and post-release.
  • Innovative Family Support: Developing and maintaining impactful family support services that meet the unique needs of our beneficiaries.
  • Upholding Dignity: Ensuring children, families, and prisoners are treated with respect and actively involved in shaping our services.
  • Showcasing Impact: Promoting the effectiveness of our services to diverse audiences, securing recognition and support for Pact’s approaches.

Scope of Services:

You will manage a range of services, which may include:

  • Family and Significant Others Services: Supporting relationships and emotional well-being.
  • Probation Contracts: Delivering services to those on probation to strengthen family ties and mental health.
  • Activity Hubs and Community-Based Services: Facilitating family/relationship building, supporting continuity of care, and assisting through-the-gate transitions.
  • Grant-Funded or Contracted Services: Leading other initiatives as secured.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in service delivery and management, preferably in a justice or social care setting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and partnership-working abilities.
  • A passion for supporting prisoners, families, and carers to achieve better outcomes.
