Second Shift RN ADON (Assistant Director of Nursing) at Kettering Heights Post Acute.
What You’ll Do
- Communicate regularly with residents and families regarding plans of care, therapy progress, treatment protocols, and resident status updates.
- Participate in daily stand-up and interdisciplinary meetings to support seamless communication across departments.
- Answer resident and family questions regarding care plans, illness progression, treatments, and services to promote comfort and confidence.
- Monitor and assess resident conditions, adjusting care needs as appropriate.
- Prioritise and organise daily clinical responsibilities in a high-volume environment.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and charting.
- Perform utilisation review activities to ensure appropriate, timely, and cost-effective resident care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary providers, financial services, and third-party payers.
- Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
- Coordinate referrals to and from the facility.
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and professional communication among staff and healthcare partners.
- Exercise independent judgement while maintaining professionalism and compassion in all interactions.
What We’re Looking For
- Active RN licence in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes preferred.
- PCC experience a plus.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong documentation and computer skills.
