Role Description
This is a volunteer role - remote or hybrid - for a Treasurer on the Board of Trustees at London-based Packed Lunch Productions. The Treasurer will be responsible for overseeing the organisation’s financial health, ensuring proper financial controls are in place, and contributing to the strategic management of the organisation. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing financial statements
- Assisting in budget preparation
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards
- Providing financial advice to the board to support decision-making
- Playing a key role in fundraising efforts
- Maintaining transparency with donors and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Financial acumen, budget management and accounting experience
- Knowledge of financial compliance, reporting standards and legal regulations affecting social enterprises and charities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Experience in fundraising, donor relations or financial development is a plus
- Familiarity with the arts, creative industries or not-for-profit sector is advantageous
