About Packamama

Packamama is a climate tech start-up reimagining wine packaging for a low-carbon future. Our multi award-winning eco-flat wine bottles, made from circular material, are already in use by some of the world's leading wine brands and retailers. We're addressing growing consumer and industry demand for more sustainable, circular packaging solutions.

The role

This is an exciting time to join. In late 2025 the Australian Government awarded Packamama a AU$1 million grant under the Business Research and Innovation Initiative (BRII), backed by Wine Australia, to develop our next generation of wine bottles. You will be involved as the project moves into its next phase of production trials and consumer research, helping bring the results to market in Australia and New Zealand over the 18-month programme.

As Sales Executive for the ANZ market, you will be the day-to-day contact for wine producers, retailers and suppliers across Australia and New Zealand, working from our London base. Most communication happens over email, with some video calls. These are not a regular fixture, but given the time difference they may occasionally fall outside standard working hours, whether an early start or a late call, and you will need to be willing to accommodate them when they arise.

What you will do

  • Manage and grow a pipeline of ANZ wine producers and retail buyers, from first outreach to follow-up
  • Prepare proposals, pricing and commercial documents for ANZ accounts
  • Collaborate with the partners working on the BRII project with us, including wine producers, manufacturers, fillers and design specialists
  • Work with production, logistics and regulatory colleagues to deliver for customers
  • Keep CRM records accurate and report on pipeline progress

What we are looking for

  • Some B2B sales or account management experience in the Australian and New Zealand market, ideally in wine or drinks
  • Comfortable picking up the phone, writing clearly and building relationships from scratch
  • Happy to flex your hours around ANZ time zones
  • Organised, proactive and keen to grow in a fast-moving start-up
  • A genuine interest in wine and sustainability
  • First-hand knowledge of Australia or New Zealand, such as having lived or worked there, is a plus

You do not need to tick every box. If you have ANZ experience and the drive to build a career in sales, we want to hear from you.

Eligibility

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. If your right to work is visa-based, your visa must have at least 12 months remaining at the time of application. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Real responsibility early, with support and mentoring from an experienced team
  • The chance to help take a government-backed innovation to market

Packamama is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds.
