Role Description
This is a part-time Human Resources Manager role based in Maidstone, offered on a hybrid basis with some work-from-home flexibility. The Human Resources Manager will oversee core HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding, performance management processes, and employee relations. Responsibilities include advising managers on HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and maintaining accurate HR records and systems. The role will also involve designing and implementing training and development initiatives, supporting compensation and benefits administration, and contributing to HR strategies that reinforce the firm’s values and meritocratic culture. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to support workforce planning and foster an inclusive, high-performing environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources management, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, UK employment law, and best practices in compliance and risk management.
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools, with the ability to maintain accurate records and analyze HR data.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills, with the ability to build trust‑based relationships.
- Experience designing and delivering training, performance management, and development programs.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPD qualification or progress toward it is highly beneficial.
