Requirements:
- Must have a digital TACHO card.
- Minimum of 5 years driving experience preferred.
- Fully CPC qualified.
- Clean driving licence.
- 40 hour working week Monday to Friday.
Role & Duties:
- Completing delivery and driver paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Maintaining vehicles and equipment in line with established company standards.
- To be able to work well within a team and maintain good communication throughout.
- Complete and submit the required daily vehicle defect sheet.
- Adhere to the EU tachograph regulations.
- Most of the load is palletised, but some manual handling will be required when delivering to the customer.
- Your day starts at 7am to inspect and check your vehicle before leaving the yard.
- There are no minimum or maximum deliveries per day, but your daily duties will not in normal circumstances extend past 4pm.
- If you get caught in traffic and your day extends past 4pm, you will be given time off in lieu.
- On returning to the yard you will be expected to help with the loading of vehicles ready for the next day, and if necessary help with other warehouse and production duties.
