Responsibilities

We are now seeking a Duty Manager to enhance our team, and help us be the best at what we do. You will oversee the day‑to‑day activities of the front‑of‑house team, be knowledgeable about all the products on offer in the bar and restaurant areas and be able to make recommendations and upsell. Most of all you love to look after people, understand what makes them happy and have the desire to make someone’s day. With a passion for hospitality you will be able to supervise in a team‑focused environment. You will have the ability to give clear direction, delegate and adapt to change. You will also be extremely organized and have strong decision‑making skills.

About The Pub

History being particularly famous for its resident skull, reported to belong to the early of Derby’s executioner. The Pack Horse has an excellent reputation for quality food, drink, and customer service. It holds a 70‑seater indoor restaurant, a relaxed dining and drinking area within the rest of the pub, and further outdoor seating to enjoy the amazing views of the area. Walkers, dogs and families are all welcome.
