Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Accurate recording of new goods received into warehouse, and reporting of discrepancies.
- Robust checking of returned items, and accurate recording of damages / adjustments.
- Organise all customer and stock movements on PC terminals and courier systems.
- Accurate and timely location of stock items into their relevant warehouse location.
- Efficient fulfilment of daily picks from designated warehouse location.
- General warehouse (waste management, etc) and administration duties.
- Ensure housekeeping duties are carried out daily, during and at the end of each shift.
- To achieve all quality and performance measures.
- Ensure all site H&S practices are followed at all times.
- Undergo any training and development as required and complete any online training courses when assigned through Pacifica's Learning Hub.
- Participate in quarterly 1-2-1's with line manager.
- Wear allocated PPE as and when required.
- Any other duties reasonably requested, deemed necessary to the efficient running of the business.
Experience And Skills
- Experience of working in a warehouse environment.
- Good knowledge of company procedure and experience of adherence to them.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and experience of adherence to them.
General Conditions
- Computer literate.
- Satisfactory DBS.
Key Performance Indicators
- New stock items (pre 10:30) to be booked into stock by 2pm on day of arrival.
- New stock items (other job orders) to be booked in within 24 hours of arrival.
- Bulk stock items to be booked into stock within 5 working days of receipt (dependant on volume).
- Engineer part returns to be booked back into stock location within 48 hours of receipt.
- Order picking accuracy - maximum 1 error per week per operative.
- Net Lost items below 1% of pick volume.
- Fulfilment/dispatch accuracy - maximum 1 error per week per operative.
