A Trainee White Goods Engineer position is available in Birmingham, offering full training and a salary of £26,500 to £27,000, reviewed once training is completed. This is a permanent, full-time role with 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. A company van is provided for private use, along with tools and training.

Whether you’re starting fresh or changing careers, we’ll provide full City & Guilds Assured training at our training centre in the north east of England and pair you with a dedicated mentor to help you become a fully qualified White Goods Engineer – Field Based. No experience in white goods repair is necessary, but we are looking for candidates with previous hands-on mechanical or electrical experience and using tools.
What You Will Do:
- Learn to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers.
- Visit customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
- Build on your mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot and solve problems on-site.
- Record and manage job details using our in-house engineer software.
- Follow guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally.
- Continuously develop your technical skills through structured training and on-the-job experience.
