The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Gas‑Qualified White Goods Engineer to join our field service team in Northampton. You’ll repair a range of domestic appliances – including gas cookers, washing machines, dishwashers, refrigeration, and more – delivering high‑quality repairs and exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair domestic gas cooking appliances (CCN1 & CKR1 required)
- Diagnose & repair at least four of the following: washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, electric ovens, and refrigeration
- Work efficiently on pre‑planned routes with on‑time parts delivery
- Deliver excellent service, aiming for first‑time fix success
- Ensure all work complies with company processes and health & safety standards
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the white goods repair sector in a field‑based capacity
- Valid CCN1 and CKR1 certificates are essential (LAU1 and LPG conversion are a bonus)
- Strong, up‑to‑date working knowledge in fault‑finding and repair of gas cooking appliances (essential) and at least four of the following: washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, electric ovens, and refrigeration
- Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points)
- Customer‑focused approach with clear communication skills
- Field‑service experience in white goods repair is essential
