The Company: Pacific has been involved in the designing and importing a breadth of indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting and home accents for over 50 years. Based in Yorkshire, we now reside in a purpose-built location with offices, showrooms and warehousing. We offer a wraparound service to our trade customers and end users alike. Pacific also has a growing B2C customer base, under a different brand, including its own customer facing website.
The Opportunity: We are looking to expand our Creative Team with a talented Social Media and Digital Marketing Executive, with the ability to manage and implement paid and organic social media strategies and content creation across multiple channels. If you have a talent for paid and organic social media and have experience of running multiple accounts across Instagram, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn, then we have the perfect opportunity for you.
As our Social Media and Digital Marketing Executive, you will lead the day-to-day and strategic delivery of social content across both brands. You’ll be responsible for building engaging, platform-native content, growing communities, and driving measurable brand impact across both paid and organic channels. Input into the creative content will range from the planning of the campaigns to working with our in-house photographer to create the social and web content required.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be a key member of our team and to spearhead our Social Media activity, supported by our wider internal and external digital marketing and creative teams.
The Role:
- Be involved in the creation of content for our Social Media Strategy; posts, reels, stories, polls etc across multiple platforms.
- Plan and execute quality content, copy and visuals for the above strategy alongside our supporting team members.
- Schedule content for maximum peak performance and engage with the community at peak times, sometimes out of hours if the traffic demands it.
- Write copy for our social media platforms and utilise platform analytics to increase sales and engagement.
- Head up our photography requirements for the social media platforms alongside our in-house photographer and create the imagery alongside our Creative Director and Marketing Manager, in line with the social media strategy.
- Manage and control allocated budgets for paid social and influencer activity, ensuring funds are used appropriately and effectively to deliver agreed targets and metrics.
- Work alongside our Creative Director and Marketing Manager, together with our external agencies on ongoing website management, focusing on content creation and uploading.
- Monitor our websites and social media performances alongside our internal teams and suggest improvements.
- Monitor competitor websites and market trends, making recommendations to improve our own offerings.
- Present suggestions and innovative ideas to increase customer and audience conversion on our digital platforms.
- Own and manage the influencer strategy and content, ensuring it aligns with budgets and following campaigns.
- Maintain and build relationships with influencers and content creators to establish long-term partnerships.
- Maintain up-to-date content calendars and asset trackers.
- Take the lead on PR content, managing platform uploads and the imagery needed.
Candidate Requirements: You should be a highly motivated, creative person with an acute attention to detail, a flair for social media, and an interest in current trends and design, particularly in interiors. You will need to be proficient in all aspects of social media content creation and have had at least one other role within this sector. Strong experience in paid social across Meta and Pinterest, building campaigns, tracking success and reporting is essential. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Good organisational skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with other departments and across the business as a whole.
