Our Opportunity
We’re looking for a friendly, organised Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our welcoming Torquay centre in a part-time capacity. This is a true all-rounder role, with a strong focus on reception duties, while still supporting the clinical team chairside when required. If you enjoy front-of-house work, patient interaction, and variety in your role, this could be a great fit. The Torquay centre can offer flexibility around shift length, including standard or shorter shifts, and there may also be the opportunity to share permanent hours across another nearby location if that suits your availability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing front desk reception, patient bookings and payments
- Welcoming patients and delivering a warm, professional experience
- Supporting chairside dental assisting and sterilisation as required
- Helping keep the centre running smoothly day to day
- Working collaboratively with the Centre Leader and wider team
What We’re Looking For
Above all, you’re friendly, reliable and comfortable working in a patient-facing role. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience as a Dental Assistant all-rounder
- Confidence working on reception (this is the primary focus of the role)
- Willingness to support chairside and clinical duties when needed
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to work across the required days, including Saturdays
