Pacific International is partnering with a global leader in the electrical solutions sector to appoint a Field Sales Manager responsible for driving growth across the UK and selected European markets. The role will play a key part in executing the regional go-to-market strategy, strengthening distributor relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth through a high-performance, customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior leadership in achieving regional and company-wide objectives
- Deliver sales targets across the UK and other designated territories
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Associates, including:
- Defining and implementing sales strategy
- Setting clear goals and performance targets
- Conducting regular performance reviews
- Build and strengthen relationships with key distribution partners and branch networks
- Develop relationships with electricians, end users, and purchasing stakeholders
- Support and execute targeted product marketing campaigns within the electrical distribution channel
- Manage new product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, distribution)
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for distributor branch staff
- Drive brand awareness through:
- Trade counter promotions
- Customer events (e.g. breakfast mornings)
- Effective use of point-of-sale materials
- Maintain strong engagement with key market influencers and customers
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 7–10 years' experience in B2B sales or account management within the electrical sector
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Additional European language skills are an advantage (e.g. German, French, Italian, Polish, Dutch, Spanish)
- Valid driver's licence required
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%) across the UK and Europe
