The primary role of the Associate is to support the successful delivery of PCG client engagement streams and outcomes. Our consultants ensure that our engagements deliver tangible outcomes for our clients through the development of value-adding insights and the design and implementation of value realisation initiatives. The Associate helps to ensure that engagements exceed client expectations around timelines and outcomes through a variety of methods including a focus on the 80:20, preparation and strategic planning, effective stakeholder management, insightful analyses, and effective delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate PCG values including exceptional self-motivation, resilience, and commercial judgement.
- Develop logical modelling which identifies business value through the collection, aggregation, synthesis, and analysis of data.
- Develop clear and logical storylines in a coherent package of analysis which provides answers and actions.
- Enhance PCG thinking by testing analyses, plans, and prepared materials.
- Increase the quality of engagement outcomes by driving home a focus on delivering the 80:20.
- Take responsibility for engagement stream outcomes; ensure that client engagement streams deliver tangible outcomes.
- Help to ensure that engagement streams exceed client expectations around timelines and outcomes.
- Work with a broad range of senior business stakeholders to design and implement business improvement initiatives, identify benefits and measures of success for change programmes, and ensure tracking of these measures and benefits.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive engagement forward and ensure business support for change.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management.
Your background and experience
- 2+ years at Tier-1 management consulting firm. Superior performance within an Industry role also welcomed.
- Demonstrated superior capabilities across the consulting value chain:
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability and conceptual thinking.
- Excellent communication, storylining, client-facing and stakeholder engagement.
- Strategic and commercial mindset.
