Basalite Concrete Products-Vancouver, ULC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete products in Western Canada. Product lines include structural block, interlocking paving stones, retaining wall systems, garden line products, and a full range of bagged dry mix products. POSITION SUMMARY: Production personnel to engage in entry level activities of our manufacturing processes. Position is considered full time seasonal. Responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION: General
RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Production / assembly line work
- General laboring and housekeeping
- Hand stacking and piling products
- Machinery operation
- Inspection for quality and conformance
- Regular attendance is required.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Previous experience working in an industrial setting.
- Healthy, fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Regular attendance is required.

- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms.
- Talk and listen, take direction.

Hourly wage: $27.17/hr. Basalite offers excellent benefits and compensation package which includes medical, dental, vision and pension.
