About the Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Coordinator, Change Communications to join our team within the Divisional Business Services function in London, UK. In this role, you will play a central part in crafting and delivering clear, engaging communications that help employees across the organisation understand, prepare for, and embrace change. You will work closely with Change Managers, Functional Leads, Project Leads, and senior stakeholders to develop targeted communication content that supports transformation initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in our London, UK Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of change communication plans for a portfolio of transformation initiatives.
- Draft, edit, and publish a wide range of communications including stakeholder emails, intranet articles, FAQs, leadership messages, town hall talking points, and digital signage content.
- Partner with Change Managers and project teams to understand the scope, timeline, and audience needs for each initiative, tailoring messages accordingly.
- Manage the change communications calendar, coordinating message timing across workstreams to avoid audience fatigue and message conflicts.
- Maintain and update intranet and SharePoint pages with current, accurate programme information.
- Support the design and formatting of communication materials, working within brand guidelines.
- Coordinate feedback mechanisms such as pulse surveys, Q&A forums, and manager briefing packs to support two-way communication.
- Track and report on communication effectiveness metrics including open rates, engagement data, and sentiment feedback.
- Assist in preparing briefing packs and presentation materials for leadership and governance forums.
- Maintain a library of approved communication templates and messaging frameworks.
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years of experience in a communications, internal communications, or change communications role, ideally within financial services or a regulated industry.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a proven ability to adapt tone, style, and complexity for diverse audiences.
- Experience planning and executing multi-channel internal communications campaigns.
- Familiarity with change management principles and the role communications plays in driving adoption (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR or equivalent).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and internal communication platforms (e.g., Viva Engage, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience using design tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, or equivalent for formatting communications materials.
- Exposure to change management or project management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Agile, Prince2).
- Experience with communications measurement tools or employee listening platforms.
- Experience supporting executive or leadership communications.
