Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who has some Workplace, Real Estate and/or Facilities experience. You will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of estates, facilities and capital development projects across the organisation. The role ensures that all estates projects are delivered on time, within budget, meeting the high‑quality standards in compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations. There may be occasions that require last minute travel to support projects at times within a different time zone, requiring personal flexibility. You’ll act as the bridge between local managing partners, office managers and central management ensuring requirements are cleared captured, ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed.

What you’ll do

  • Manage estates and facilities projects from inception to completion, this may include office moves, refurbishments, new builds and infrastructure upgrades
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with local Managing Partners and Office Managers capturing and documenting requirements
  • Work closely with the Head of Business Operations to ensure value for money is delivered and branding is kept consistent throughout the estate
  • Support the creation and completion of commercial contracts such as lease agreements and supplier contracts, ensuring where possible project risks are identified and mitigated within contracts and agreements
  • Manage General Contractors and Suppliers, likely to include builders, architects, designers and property partners, ensuring quality and build schedules remain on track
  • Develop, maintain and monitor project plans both internally but also where external build schedules apply
  • Responsible for ensuring all project documentation is maintained and kept up to date such as floor plans, RAID logs and Change Orders
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenditure against forecast and controlling any necessary Change Orders
  • Identify resource requirements and timings for the core central teams ensuring there is no overlap for IT leads
  • Procure goods and services in line with organisational procurement processes and policies
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and produce clear, concise status reporting
  • Manage change and communications to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support technical teams in issue resolution and escalation management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management within estates, facilities or construction environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, able to adapt quickly to unexpected changes
  • Ability to travel to Europe at short notice
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Proficiency with PM tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or equivalent.
  • A proactive, delivery‑focused mindset and ability to operate in complex, fast‑paced environments.
  • Degree in estates management, facilities management or related construction field
  • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g. BREEAM, Net Zero initiatives)
  • Experience delivering estates projects within the legal sector
