Gully Wagon Operator Pace Infrastructure are currently recruiting for an experienced Gully Cleaning Wagon Operator to support highway drainage and cleansing operations on major infrastructure and highways projects. This role involves operating gully wagons and supporting drainage maintenance teams across planned and reactive works.
Duties Include:
- Operating HGV Class 2 gully wagon vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out highway drainage and gully cleansing works
- Operating vacuum and jetting equipment
- Assisting with blockage removal and drainage maintenance
- Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Supporting site teams with traffic management and safe systems of work
- Working alongside groundworkers and drainage operatives
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating gully wagons or vacuum tankers preferred
- CSCS / Highways Passport beneficial
- NRSWA, Confined Space or Water Jetting tickets advantageous
- Good understanding of highways or drainage environments
- Flexible approach to days, nights and weekend work
