We are reimagining consulting delivery through a human-centred approach, with a focus on meaningful, measurable outcomes across complex environments - particularly within the Legal sector.
Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with Legal Services experience to lead a critical transformation programme within a leading law firm.
This role will focus on the modernisation of Business Acceptance processes, including onboarding new matters and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as conflict checks, AML, sanctions screening, and client due diligence.
This project will involve migration to a cloud-based legal application (e.g. Intapp or similar), alongside process re-engineering to improve control, efficiency, and compliance.
This is a highly sensitive programme, requiring strong stakeholder engagement across legal, risk, compliance, and IT functions
What you’ll do:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a Business Acceptance transformation project within a legal environment
  • Manage the migration of legal applications from on-premise to Cloud-based platforms (e.g. Intapp or similar)
  • Analyse and redesign processes relating to:
    • Conflict of interest checks
    • Sanctions screening
    • AML and KYC verification
    • Client onboarding and matter opening
  • Identify and mitigate compliance and audit risks, improving governance and control frameworks
  • Work closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to capture requirements and ensure successful adoption
  • Oversee system implementation, testing, data migration, and go-live activities
  • Ensure robust project governance, including RAID logs, reporting, and stakeholder communications
  • Manage third-party vendors and technology partners where relevant
  • Facilitate workshops and drive alignment across senior stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Support change management and user adoption for new systems and processes

The successful Project Manager will be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the Legal Services sector
  • Strong experience delivering legal technology or application projects (e.g. Intapp, Elite, iManage, or similar)
  • Demonstrable experience in cloud migration programmes (ideally from legacy/on-prem systems)
  • Knowledge of Business Acceptance, Risk & Compliance processes within law firms:
    • Conflicts
    • AML / KYC
    • Client onboarding
  • Experience re-engineering operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior legal and business stakeholders
  • Experience working in highly regulated, audit-sensitive environments
  • Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to navigate complexity
Desirable:
  • Experience delivering Intapp implementations or similar legal risk platforms
  • Background in Legal Operations, Risk, or Compliance transformation
  • Familiarity with data privacy and regulatory considerations in legal environments
