PACE Infrastructure Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support the successful delivery of complex rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring commercial, financial, and contractual objectives are achieved across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting
- Administer NEC contracts, including payments, variations, compensation events, and final accounts
- Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities, and change processes
- Develop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Provide commercial guidance to project teams and support the development of junior staff
- Ensure compliance with company governance and client contract requirements
- Support bid and tender submissions, including pricing and contractual reviews
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying within rail or civil infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contract forms
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Commercially astute with a proactive and collaborative mindset
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (MRICS preferred)
