PACE Infrastructure Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support the successful delivery of complex rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring commercial, financial, and contractual objectives are achieved across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Administer NEC contracts, including payments, variations, compensation events, and final accounts
  • Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities, and change processes
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Provide commercial guidance to project teams and support the development of junior staff
  • Ensure compliance with company governance and client contract requirements
  • Support bid and tender submissions, including pricing and contractual reviews

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying within rail or civil infrastructure
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contract forms
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Commercially astute with a proactive and collaborative mindset
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (MRICS preferred)
