As part of our expansion, we are looking for a proactive and commercially aware Estimator to strengthen our team and help us secure and price work efficiently.

The Role

As an Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in our tendering and pricing strategy, ensuring competitive, profitable, and well-structured bids. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to produce accurate estimates and secure projects that align with PACE’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

βœ… Tender Pricing & Cost Estimation: Prepare competitive, detailed cost estimates for rail, civil engineering, projects βœ… BOQs & Take-Offs: Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to develop Bill of Quantities.

βœ… Supply Chain & Procurement: Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source accurate pricing/material rates.

βœ… Risk & Value Engineering: Identify potential risks and opportunities within tenders to optimise pricing strategies.

βœ… Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to refine pricing.

βœ… Data & Cost Benchmarking: Maintain and develop a pricing database to ensure estimates are market-aligned.

What We’re Looking For

πŸ”Ή Experience: 3+ years in an Estimator role within rail, civil engineering, or infrastructure.
