Pace Infrastructure is currently recruiting experienced LANTRA 12A/B Traffic Management Operatives to support major highways and infrastructure projects across the UK. We are looking for motivated and safety-conscious operatives with experience working on high-speed roads, motorway schemes and temporary traffic management installations.
Requirements
- Valid LANTRA NHSS 12A/B Traffic Management Qualification
- Valid CSCS Card (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- Previous Traffic Management experience
- Good understanding of Chapter 8 requirements
- Ability to work days, nights and weekends
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Reliable and professional attitude
NHSS 12A/B qualifications are used for temporary traffic management on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways, covering installation, maintenance and removal of traffic management systems.
Duties
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management systems
- Setting out cones, barriers, signs and lane closures
- Assisting with road closures and diversion routes
- Working safely on high-speed roads and motorway networks
- Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Ensuring all traffic management layouts comply with current legislation and Chapter 8 standards
- Supporting supervisors and site management teams
- Reporting defects, incidents and safety concerns
- Maintaining a safe working environment for road users and site personnel
Temporary Traffic Management training focuses on safety procedures, risk assessments, equipment use, traffic control methods and legal requirements when working on the highway.
