Technical Manager – Bespoke Residential Developer Location: Buckinghamshire Salary: Up to £70,000 + £6,500 Car Allowance + Perks + Progression + Package Role Overview: A bespoke residential developer is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee pre-construction and delivery of high-quality residential projects. Reporting to the Director, this role ensures all design information aligns with project schedules, meets budget constraints, and achieves successful sub-contract procurement and build outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and distribute design information, ensuring compliance with current regulations, planning permissions, and buildability standards. * Identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness in designs and construction methods. * Coordinate with consultants to ensure compatibility of design information and resolve potential conflicts. * Liaise with local authorities, securing necessary licences and agreements (e.g., section agreements, scaffold/hoarding permits). * Manage relationships with external consultants, monitoring budgets, and reporting to the senior surveyor weekly. * Ensure timely applications and payments for utility connections, as well as NHBC (or equivalent) approvals. * Maintain accurate and organised filing systems for all construction information. * Mentor and manage the Technical Coordinator, fostering professional development. * Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to verify specifications and sales materials.
