What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading the commercial management on RC frame, high-rise residential projects
  • Preparing detailed budgets, cost plans, and comprehensive tender packages
  • Procuring, negotiating, and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
  • Administering contracts ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements
  • Managing valuations, variations, and overseeing final accounts
  • Reporting on costs, forecasts, and overall financial performance
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and liaise with on-site teams
  • Receiving guidance and support from senior QSs and Commercial Managers when needed
  • Mentoring junior staff and sharing expertise across the commercial team
  • Collaborating with Commercial Managers and Directors on strategic business growth

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with RC frame or high-rise residential expertise
  • Excellent numerical, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Ambitious, detail-focused, and ready to embrace increasing responsibility with team support

The Package:

  • Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)
  • Benefits: Car allowance, discretionary bonus, travel expenses, private medical
  • Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays (rising to 29)
