We are recruiting an ambitious Contracts Manager to oversee projects across the South East, taking full accountability for performance, programme and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of projects from pre-start to final account
- Manage 1-3 schemes concurrently, depending on scale
- Deliver projects safely, on time and within agreed margins
- Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors
- Develop and control construction programmes
- Monitor critical path and implement recovery strategies
- Manage works within live and occupied environments
- Coordinate design, procurement and delivery activities
- Manage JCT
- Identify and control variations
- Oversee cost performance and protect margin
- Support CVR reporting and financial tracking
- Contribute to final account agreement
- Chair and attend client and consultant meetings
- Maintain strong stakeholder communication
- Ensure CDM compliance and uphold health & safety standards
- Drive quality control and close out defects efficiently
