We are recruiting an ambitious Contracts Manager to oversee projects across the South East, taking full accountability for performance, programme and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of projects from pre-start to final account
  • Manage 1-3 schemes concurrently, depending on scale
  • Deliver projects safely, on time and within agreed margins
  • Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors
  • Develop and control construction programmes
  • Monitor critical path and implement recovery strategies
  • Manage works within live and occupied environments
  • Coordinate design, procurement and delivery activities
  • Manage JCT
  • Identify and control variations
  • Oversee cost performance and protect margin
  • Support CVR reporting and financial tracking
  • Contribute to final account agreement
  • Chair and attend client and consultant meetings
  • Maintain strong stakeholder communication
  • Ensure CDM compliance and uphold health & safety standards
  • Drive quality control and close out defects efficiently
