Site-based Senior Quantity Surveyor acting as Commercial Lead on a live refurbishment project.

Working closely with the Project Manager and Design Manager to review scope, rebuild programme and manage the remaining commercial delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all site-based commercial activities for the project.
  • Review existing works and assess remaining scope with design and delivery teams.
  • Assist in rebuilding the refurbishment programme and cost plan.
  • Price and manage remaining works packages.
  • Manage live project commercials, including variations, valuations and forecasting.
  • Oversee procurement and subcontractor management.
  • Monitor cost performance and financial reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with the PM and design team to ensure strong commercial control.
  • Work alongside and receive support from an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS).

Project Scope:

  • Commercial refurbishment project (£8m).
  • Externals and internals.
  • Facades, roofing and Cat A fit-out works.
