Job Title: Senior Document Controller Location: Enfield (Office-based with 1–2 days working from home) Contract: 2 year fixed term contract Salary: Β£55,000 – Β£60,000 per annum Industry: Residential Development / Construction About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Document Controller to join a leading residential developer on 2 year fixed term contract. This is a pivotal role supporting vital fire safety and building regulation projects within the residential construction sector. Based in Enfield, with the flexibility to work from home 1–2 days a week, you will lead document control processes across multiple projects, ensuring full regulatory compliance and best practice in information management. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage all document control activities for the project team. * Maintain accurate records, ensuring proper version control, document numbering, and systematic distribution to relevant stakeholders. * Manage project documentation using common document control and project management platforms. * Conduct regular audits and prepare reports to ensure compliance with fire safety and building regulations. * Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and external consultants to ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible. * Mentor and support junior document controllers or administrative staff as needed. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Document Controller in construction, engineering, or residential development sectors. * Strong knowledge of document control processes, standards, and software tools (Procore ideally) * Excellent organisational and communication skills with acute attention to detail. * Ability to work independently while managing priorities across multiple projects. * Experience working on safety-critical or compliance-focused projects is highly desirable.
