The Role
As Contracts Manager, you\βll report directly to the Construction Director and oversee 1-4 concurrent projects (typically valued between Β£100K-Β£5M) across Greater London.
You\βll split your time between our Battersea office and active sites, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day contract delivery across multiple live heritage/restoration projects
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver works on time and within budget
- Ensure strict compliance with contract terms, health & safety regulations, and conservation standards
- Liaise regularly with clients, consultants, and the internal team to ensure seamless communication
- Monitor project performance, cost control, programme adherence, and quality assurance
- Support the Construction Director in strategic planning and resource allocation
What We\βre Looking For
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager in the heritage or restoration sector
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Solid understanding of traditional construction techniques and conservation best practices
- Ability to manage multiple sites with varying complexity and scale
- A proactive, team-focused approach and attention to detail
- SMSTS and relevant health & safety certifications preferred
