Wickford, Essex | Up to £70,000 + Package | Permanent
Pace Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing main contractor based in Wickford, Essex. This Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity would suit someone looking to take the next step in their career, with a genuine progression route into Commercial Manager and ultimately Commercial Director.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will take commercial responsibility for their own projects, reporting directly into the Operations Director. The business predominantly delivers retail fit-out projects, with a growing pipeline of work.
The Role
- Manage the commercial aspects of your own projects from start to finish
- Prepare and manage CVRs, forecasting and commercial reporting
- Manage variations, valuations, applications and final accounts
- Work closely with the Operations Director and wider project team
- Maintain strong commercial control and maximise project profitability
- Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
About You
- Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
- Strong understanding of CVRs and commercial reporting
- Experience within fit-out / retail / construction would be highly advantageous
- Able to take ownership xgikmsk of projects and work independently
- Ambitious and looking for genuine career progression
