Site Manager – Heritage & Restoration
Location: Canary Wharf, East London
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000

A long-established specialist main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver a high-quality heritage and restoration project in Canary Wharf.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
- Deliver works to programme, specification and quality standards
- Coordinate trades, labour, materials and deliveries
- Manage heritage, restoration and refurbishment works
- Review drawings, specifications and RAMS
- Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging
- Monitor progress and report against programme
- Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks
- Maintain site records and daily reports
- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements
- Manage site logistics within a busy London environment
- Assist with project handover and completion
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager
- Heritage, restoration, refurbishment or specialist construction background
- Experience working for a main contractor
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
- Strong communication and organisational skills
