Senior Quantity Surveyor – Refurbishment & Restoration
Location: Enfield office
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Package + Benefits + Career Progression
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected SME main contractor delivering a varied portfolio of refurbishment, restoration and regeneration projects across London.
The successful candidate will work across a diverse range of schemes, including high-end residential refurbishments, listed buildings and heritage restoration projects, alongside public sector and residential refurbishment frameworks involving both internal and external works.
This role would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor from either a premium refurbishment background or someone with experience delivering large-scale residential refurbishment programmes, including social housing, planned works or framework projects.
The business has built a strong reputation through long-standing client relationships, repeat business and a commitment to developing its people. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven QS who is looking for a long-term career path, with the potential to progress into Commercial Manager and future senior leadership/director-level positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial performance of projects from tender through to final account.
- Oversee procurement, subcontract packages, valuations, variations and cost reporting.
- Prepare forecasts, CVRs and financial reports.
- Manage commercial risks and support successful project delivery.
- Work closely with clients, consultants, project teams and supply chain partners.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction.
- Experience in refurbishment, restoration, residential or framework projects.
- Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills.
