Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a GB4 No 1 Race Team Mechanic located in Telford. The Race Team Mechanic will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and repair of racing vehicles, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and working with heavy equipment. The mechanic will ensure that vehicles are race-ready and perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Oversee and perform all maintenance tasks, including servicing, repairs, and overhauls, ensuring the vehicle meets the highest standards of race readiness.
- Setup Adjustments: Implement precise vehicle adjustments based on driver feedback and telemetry data to optimize performance for varying race conditions and tracks.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues swiftly, utilizing a deep understanding of the vehicle's systems to make informed decisions under race pressures.
