DSA Fault Studies Engineer, Engineer to Senior Level Salary - £42,000 - £66,500 Hybrid - Derby, Warrington or Manchester We are now recruiting for the exciting role of DSA Fault Studies Engineer, to be involved in the safety and regulatory compliance for game changing technology within the nuclear industry.

This role is open to both Engineer and Senior level candidates, with grade and salary matched to the experience you bring.

Role Purpose Reporting to the Safety Assessment Manager, the DSA Fault Studies Engineer will apply Deterministic Safety Assessment (DSA) and hazards assessment to the design of the Rolls-Royce SMR power station, working across engineering disciplines to ensure the design meets safety case requirements.

Part time hours are available for this role, as they are across Rolls-Royce SMR.

This is a genuinely end to end safety engineering role, giving a broad view across the whole plant rather than a narrow slice of it, with real ownership of your area of the safety case.

You will have a direct hand in developing a first of a kind nuclear power station design, as part of a high skilled and growing team.

Within six months you will be moving toward completion of GDA Step 3.

Within a year, GDA will be complete and the focus will shift to site specific licensing activity.

Within three years there is genuine scope to move into operations, international work, or exposure to different regulatory ecosystems, depending on where your interests take you.
